Abstract

ABSTRAK: Sungai Luk Ulo merupakan sungai terbesar yang melintas sepanjang Karangsambung, Kabupaten Kebumen, Jawa Tengah. Sungai Luk Ulo yang menginterupsi utara-selatan kawasan Karangsambung menunjukan penampakan yang berkelak-kelok atau bermeander seperti ular. Mengukur parameter sungai Luk Ulo bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan karakteristik morfometri sungai tersebut. Parameter pengukuran yang diamati berupa data panjang aliran (s), jari-jari kelengkungan (r), panjang sumbu (a), panjang lebar liku (l), lebar sungai (w) dan nilai sinuositas (c). Analisis sungai dilakukan dengan membagi menjadi 4 bagian segmen sungai. Analisis morfometri sungai dilakukan dengan mengkomparasi sungai pada tahu 2019 dan tahun 1999 untuk mengetahui perubahan morfometri sungai, data yang diperoleh didapat dari citra Landsat 5 Sensor Thematic Mapper (TM) dan Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager and Thermal Infrared Sensor (OLI/TIRS). Hasil analisis nilai rata-rata sinuositas sungai pada tahun 1999 hingga 2019 mengalami penurunan. Jenis evolusi morfometri sungai Luk Olu berdasarkan nilai sinuositas tergolong sinuous dan tergolong berkelok karena nilai sinuositasnya didominasi >1. Berdasarkan bentukan sungai Luk Ulo yang bermeander dan terletak pada hilir tergolong stadia dewasa – tua.

ABSTRACT: Luk Ulo River is the largest river that passes along Karangsambung, Kebumen Regency, Central Java. The Luk Ulo River which interrupts the north-south of the Karangsambung area shows an appearance of meandering or migrating like a snake. Measuring the parameters of the Luk Ulo river aims to determine changes in the morphometric characteristics of the river. The measurement parameters observed were data flow length (s), radius of curvature (r), axis length (a), meander width (l), river width (w) and sinuosity value (c). River analysis is carried out by dividing the river into 4 segments. River morphometric analysis was carried out by comparing rivers in 2019 and 1999 to determine changes in river morphometry, data obtained were obtained from Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper (TM) and Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager and Thermal Infrared Sensor (OLI / TIRS) images. The results of the analysis of the average value of river sinuosity from 1999 to 2019 have decreased. The type of morphometric evolution of the Luk Olu river based on the sinuosity value is classified as sinuous and classified as winding because the sinuosity value is dominated by> 1. Based on the formation of the Luk Ulo river which has a landscape and is located downstream, it is classified as an adult - old stage.
