PENGOPTIMALAN ENERGI CADANGAN BERBASIS SWITCHING CHARGE DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SOLAR CELL PADA RANCANG BANGUN MINI PDAM
Abstract
ABSTRAK: Kebutuhan listrik dari PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara) untuk pengolahan air bersih di daerah terpencil umumnya sering mengalami gangguan karena terjadinya pemadaman listrik (Down) oleh 2 faktor, yaitu faktor internal berupa maintenance dan faktor eksternal yang bersifat gangguan secara langsung saat prosestransmisilistrik. Oleh karena itu, pengolahan energi darisel surya sebagai sumber energi listrik DC (Direct Current) cadangan berfungsi menggantikan sementara sumber listrik dari PLN saat terjadi gangguan dengan memaksimalkan pemanfaatan potensi energi cahaya matahari yang sampai ke bumi melalui sistem solar thermal sehingga ketersediaan sumber listrik untuk pengolahan air bersih di daerah terpenciltetap terpenuhi. Pengoptimalan energi listrik cadangan dari solar cell berbasis Switching Charge berfungsi agar baterai dapat digunakan secara bergantian sedangkan baterai yang lain discharge di waktu yang bersamaan. Pengisian baterai berbasis Switching Charge dengan menggunakan Stabilizer lebih cepat dan lebih baik dengan mempunyai perbedaan besar arus = 0,4261 A saat cuaca berawan dan arus = 1,4118 A di saat cuaca cerah. Sedangkan perbedaan arus tanpa menggunakan alat stabilizer sebesar = 0,2971 A saat proses pengisian arus di cuaca berawan dan arus = 0,5885 A saat di cuaca cerah.

ABSTRACT: Electricity needs from PLN (State Electricity Company) for water treatment in remote areas generally often experience interference due to power outages (Down) by 2 factors, namely internal factors such as maintenance and external factors that are directly interrupted during the electricity transmission process. Therefore, the processing of energy from solar cells as a source of DC (Direct Current) backup electricity functions to temporarily replace the electricity source from PLN when there is a disruption by maximizing the utilization of the potential of sunlight energy reaching the earth through the solar thermal system so that the availability of electricity sources for processing clean water in remote areas is still fulfilled. Optimization of backup electrical energy from a switching charge-based solar cell functions so that batteries can be used interchangeably while other batteries are discharged at the same time. Charging a battery based on a Switching Charge using a stabilizer is faster and better by having a large difference of current = 0.4261 A in cloudy weather and current = 1.4118 A in sunny weather. While the difference in currents without using a stabilizer is = 0.2971 A when the process of charging current in cloudy weather and the current = 0.5885 A when in sunny weather.
