RANCANG BANGUN DAN SOSIALISASI MESIN CETAK 3D TIPE DIGITAL LIGHT PROCESSING (DLP)
Abstract
ABSTRAK: Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan agar pelaku usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) memiliki kompetensi dan daya saing dalam merancang bangun, menggunakan, dan memproduksi suatu produk dari mesin cetak 3D tipe digital light processing (DLP). Khalayak sasaran kegiatan ini yaitu 37 orang pelaku UMKM binaan Dinas Koperasi, Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (KUKM) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Kegiatan ini didahului dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan melalui wawancara dan survei. Bentuk aktivitas dirancang dengan menggunakan strategi pelatihan agar keterampilan peserta dalam pengoperasian mesin cetak 3D dapat terjamin. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan pemberian materi mengenai rancang bangun dan cara penggunaan mesin cetak 3D serta proses produksi. Hasil review dan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan kebanyakan peserta dapat memahami materi dari pemodelan CAD dan slicer chitubox, serta praktek pengoperasian mesin cetak 3D. Dari hasil diskusi selama pelatihan didapatkan bahwa baik mayoritas pelaku UMKM dan Dinas KUKM Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung berkeinginan untuk mengadakan kerjasama lebih lanjut terkait tentang proses produksi menggunakan alat hasil rancang bangun mesin cetak 3D tipe DLP.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of community service activities is to ensure that micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have the competence and competitiveness in designing, using, and producing a product from a digital light processing (DLP) type 3D printing machine. This activity's target audience is 37 MSME actors assisted by the Office of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (KUKM) of Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This activity is preceded by conducting a needs analysis through interviews and surveys. The form of the activity was designed using a training strategy to guarantee the participants' skills in operating the 3D printing machine. The training was conducted by providing materials on the design and use of 3D printing machines and the production process. The results of the review and evaluation of the implementation of the activity showed that most participants could understand the material from CAD modeling and chitubox slicers and the practice of operating 3D printing machines. From the discussion results during the training, it was found that both the majority of MSME actors and the Bangka Belitung Islands Province KUKM Office wanted to carry out further collaboration related to the production process using the DLP type 3D printing machine design tools.
