Evaluasi Pelaksanaan Penyelenggaraan Jalan Untuk Mempertahankan dan Meningkatkan Kemantapan Jalan Kabupaten Aceh Utara

Abstract

Road maintenance is an activity that includes arranging, coaching, building and monitoring roads. Performance in road management is measured by targeting improvements in road stability conditions in order to increase connectivity between regions using district road stability level indicators. Road stability is the service condition from the time the construction is new until the service condition is at the limit of stability. The achievement of stable road conditions over the last six years shows that the stability of North Aceh Regency's roads has not been able to meet the targets that have been set. This research focuses on the efforts that have been carried out by the road management apparatus of the North Aceh Regency in carrying out road construction and preservation so that the quantity and quality of roads are as planned. The method used in this research uses a survey research approach and case study and field research. Through this research, several problems were revealed, including technical planning not being in accordance with the real needs of road transportation, road surveys not being carried out regularly and the monitoring function not running.
