Abstract

ABSTRACT: A reservoir with hydrocarbon reserves in large numbers and the hydrocarbons cannot be produced due to the ability to optimally rock to drain fluids that are less good (tight permeability). These problems can be overcome by hydraulic fracturing stimulation. The basic concept of hydraulic fracturing is formed with a target volume of fracture height, length, and width of the optimal fracture thereby expanding the effective radius of the well (rw `) and create a new rock permeability (k`), in order to obtain optimum production increase. Production wells X-100 showed that the maximum production of 60 BOPD but after fracturing, the production was first obtained 46.17 BOPD, subsequently decreased 20.44 BOPD until to reach 7.32BOPD, with a decrease in the production will be performed to make the reason cracking again. In addition, it is the reason redesign is carried high and fracture length exceeding planning targets. Redesign results indicate that the direction of the fracture will occur vertically, fracture length further from the fracture height, the required number of 12,900 lbs of proppant, the amount of fracturing fluid 5887 gallon, surface injection pressure of 3375 psi, the required pump power 1157 hp, injection rate of 14 BPM so slurry injection timing to achieve optimum fracture for 11.65 minutes. Redesign hidraulic hydraulic got fracture length optimum 157.87 ft, new well radius (rw `) 81.64 ft, 3.85 times increase in production, and total cost of the stimulation $ 68,935. With the radius of new wells (rw `) and an increase production, so the cost of stimulation can put it away during 9.6 days of production wells after fracturing again.
