Implementasi Website Informasi Masjid Al-Irsyad Kelurahan 30 Ilir Kota Palembang

Abstract

ABSTRAK:Masjid Al-Irsyad terletak di Jalan Cut Nyak Din No. 2306, di wilayah Kelurahan 30 Ilir, Kecamatan Ilir Barat II, Kota Palembang. Masjid yang berdiri di kawasan perkampungan masyarakat kota yang heterogen dengan berbagai macam karakter, didirikan semenjak tahun 1970-an dan telah mengalami banyak pergantian kepengurusan dan mengalami perubahan fisik bangunan. Pada saat ini pengurus Masjid Al-Irsyad ingin menerapkan teknologi informasi berupa website sebagai media penyebaran informasi. Banyak informasi yang layak disampaikan ke jamaah masjid, seperti informasi : kegiatan, pencapaian, rencana pembangunan, dan lainnya. Harapan kedepan website akan berdampak positif meningkatkan fungsi Masjid Al-Irsyad. Untuk menerapkan website tersebut, para dosen Jurusan Teknik Elektro Universitas Sriwijaya merasa perlu untuk melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, mereka merencanakan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang berjudul "Implementasi Website Informasi Masjid Al-Irsyad Kelurahan 30 Ilir Kota Palembang". Kegiatan ini akan mencakup proses pembuatan website, implementasi website kepada pengurus dan jamaah Masjid Al-Irsyad, serta evaluasi untuk menilai keberhasilan pengabdian tersebut. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan citra positif Universitas Sriwijaya dalam membantu masyarakat, khususnya jamaah dan pengurus Masjid Al-Irsyad Palembang, dapat meningkat. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga akan mendukung partisipasi mahasiswa dalam program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM), karena mahasiswa akan dapat mengaplikasikan pengetahuan mereka secara langsung dalam masyarakat.

ABSTRACT: Masjid Al-Irsyad is located at Jalan Cut Nyak Din No. 2306, in the area of Kelurahan 30 Ilir, Kecamatan Ilir Barat II, Palembang City. The mosque, situated in a heterogeneous urban community with diverse characteristics, was established since the 1970s and has undergone numerous changes in leadership and physical structure. Currently, the management of Masjid Al-Irsyad aims to incorporate information technology through a website as a means of disseminating information. There is a wealth of information that is deemed worthy of sharing with the mosque congregation, including details about activities, achievements, development plans, and more. The aspiration is that the website will have a positive impact on enhancing the functions of Masjid Al-Irsyad in the future.To implement this website, faculty members from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Sriwijaya feel the need to engage in community service activities. Therefore, they are planning to carry out a community service project titled "Implementation of the Website Information of Masjid Al-Irsyad Kelurahan 30 Ilir, Palembang." This project will encompass the website creation process, implementation of the website for the management and congregation of Masjid Al-Irsyad, and an evaluation to assess the success of the community service. Through this initiative, it is anticipated that the positive image of the University of Sriwijaya in aiding the community, particularly the congregation and management of Masjid Al-Irsyad in Palembang, will be enhanced. Additionally, this activity will support the participation of students in the Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) program, allowing them to apply their knowledge directly within the community.
