Implementasi Pemanfaatan Sistem Try Out Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Berbasis Website

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Seleksi Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri salah satunya adalah Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) yang menggunakan Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK) sebagai syarat wajibnya. Pada saat ini untuk lulus tes SBMPTN agar diterima di perguruan tinggi negeri persaingannya semakin sulit dan sangat ketat, berdasarkan data Kemenristekdikti jumlah peserta lolos SBMPTN 2019 sebanyak 23,61 persen dari jumlah pendaftar. Perlu persiapan yang matang dalam menghadapi UTBK, mulai dari pemahaman materi, fisik, dan serta mental. Salah satu upaya untuk melatih siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal UTBK di butuhkan try out sebagai suatu wahana yang bertujuan agar pelajar lebih siap dan terbiasa mengerjakan UTBK. Mahasiswa Unsri pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro telah mengembangkan suatu Sistem Try Out UTBK SBMPTN Berbasis Website, dimana aplikasi tersebut dirancang melalui proses Tugas Akhir dan sampai saat ini aplikasi tersebut masih terus dikembangkan. Maka para siswa kelas 12 yang duduk di bangku Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dapat memanfaatkan sistem tersebut sebagai media latihan. Suatu kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dalam bentuk pendampingan sangatlah tepat untuk dilakukan agar para siswa kelas 12 SMA dapat mengimplementasikan untuk latihan menghadapi UTBK SBMPTN 2021. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat dengan tahapan sebagai berikut : 1) Persiapan soal dan website, 2) Menyebarkan penyelenggaran try out ke para siswa. 3) Implementasi menggunakan sistem sebagai media try out, dan 4) Evaluasi penggunaan sistem sebagai media latihan.

ABSTRACT: One of the State Higher Education Entrance Selection is the State Higher Education Entrance Joint Selection which uses a Computer-Based Written Test as a mandatory requirement. At this time, to pass the SBMPTN test in order to be accepted in state universities, the competition is increasingly difficult and very tight, based on data from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, the number of participants passing the 2019 SBMPTN is 23.61 percent of the total registrants. It needs thorough preparation in facing UTBK, starting from understanding the material, physical, and mental. One of the efforts to train students in solving UTBK questions requires a try out as a vehicle that aims to make students more ready and accustomed to doing UTBK. Unsri students in the Department of Electrical Engineering have developed a Website-Based UTBK SBMPTN Try Out System, where the application is designed through the Final Project process and until now the application is still being developed. So the 12th grade students who are in Senior High School (SMA) can take advantage of the system as a training medium. A community service activity in the form of mentoring is very appropriate so that grade 12 high school students can implement it for training to face UTBK SBMPTN 2021. Community service activities are in the following stages: 1) Preparation of questions and websites, 2) Spread the implementation of try outs to the students. 3) Implementation using the system as a try out media, and 4) Evaluating the use of the system as a training medium.
