Jurnal Teknik Kimia (JTK) is a national journal, provides a forum publishing research article from an experimental, literature review, and fieldwork in chemical engineering. The journal consists of basic or fundamental science and its application in the chemical industry. The printed version of Jurnal Teknik Kimia has been published by Chemical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sriwijaya since 1996. The P-ISSN 0853-0963 registered in 2007. The articles can be accessed online since 2008 through http://jtk.unsri.ac.id/index.php/jtk. This Journal is an open-access journal that provides online publication four times a year, which is on January, April, August, and December (until Volume 23). 

Due to technical problems in the previous OJS system and in the framework of continuous improvement, the management of Jurnal Teknik Kimia was transferred under the journal management of Engineering Faculty Universitas Sriwijaya since December, 2019 with E-ISSN 2721-4885 that registered in 2020. As the effect of the transition, the archieve from Volume 21 to 25 moved to this website http://ejournal.ft.unsri.ac.id/index.php/jtk.

This journal has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA) Managed by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic Indonesia with Third Grade (Peringkat 3, Sinta 3) since year 2020 to 2024 according to the decree No. 148/M/KPT/2020. Jurnal Teknik Kimia wishes to provide good chances for academic and industry professionals to discuss recent progress in various areas of chemical science, engineering, and its application. Jurnal Teknik Kimia has been indexed in Sinta, Garuda, Google Scholar, and Microsoft Academic.

Started from Volume 24, the management decided that the publication schedule changed to three issue per volume. It will be in March, July, and November. 

Started from July, 2023, This journal managed and published by Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sriwijaya, Palembang, Indonesia in collaboration with Asosiasi Pendidikan Tinggi Teknik Kimia Indonesia (APTEKIM). 

 

Publication Language

The publication language of Jurnal Teknik Kimia is English. Manuscripts should be submitted in English. The submitted manuscript should comply with the grammar rules and the related scientific literature.

After the acceptance of the manuscript, the final copies are checked by the language editors of Jurnal Teknik Kimia. Language editors may request a proofreading in case of insufficiency. Proofreading should be made by one of the accredited language institutions proposed below. The author(s) are responsible for the submission of the muniment.
